looking from the outside in
listening from the inside out
pretending to belong
to understand the inner workings of academics
of cultural travelers for knowledge

i, i travel for inspiration
the vision of characteristics separate from my own
searching for a spark that will prove me wrong. . .
ignite an awakening inside
allowing my creativity to reside in a space outside my mind

i look from the outside in
i try, but mainly i block
conversations from the inside out
forcing me to face my inner doubt

always searching
but when will i discover what this life . .
my life,  is all about

traces of something of myself within
