what you guys think? I love this poem because its actually a poem written by me about . . me! A testament to me being able to think outside the box and put myself in my ex's shoes when he used to return home from weeks away during the torturous days of college, glad those days are done!!

now that i think about it i should have just brought them harem pants ... so comfy can't beat a barely used $18 MbyMJ bag!!i love this pic it reminds me of a chill Cali ad.the shop girl at Cherry Bomb definitely had a Nicki Minaj look-a-like thing going for her lol . . actually a men's beltlove! the bags hanging inside the bright frames against my fav color combo on the wall LOVE!!Crazy cool boutique Fearless Weirdos . . i even love the name, but if you know me you know i have a thing or Asian culture and this store is devoted to Tokyo style, manly men's fashion but the women's accessories were definitely for the happy to be different set. . . they even have a mini bar area consisting of only Japanese snacks, drinks and Mochi (japanese ice cream . .soo good)

p.s i am really hating this new blog format which i can just not master . .(in the few minutes i've tried, lol) so back to the old format.

i don't always want to be angry, frustrated or stressed/
whats the point in growing, if i always digress/
they say life's a test/
and only your character determines how you place/
i'm suffocating/
and in my search for space/
i lost myself/
but found the old me/
right between the self loathing i though i abandoned/
and my irritation with settling/
and at times i feel my life could use . . .professional meddling/
as i always get in my own way/
and every time i think i'm done with her/
i find the old me, is here to stay/

so why do i try/
to deny my inner instincts and cowardly ways/
when its hard to show courage/
i revert back to my old ways/
of introversion and depression/
but maybe that's life's lesson/
to grow i must die/
daily to me/
and open up my eyes with no plans/
and let life show what it has for me/

i don't always want to hurt others, because people hurt me/
but sometimes i find it hard to keep it real, with those who love me/
when the end is near/
i steer clear of truth, and opt for action/
a quick moment of distraction/
from what i know must be done /

i don't always want to depend on others for personal joy/
so i sabotage myself/
and use 'actions out of character' as a decoy/
just a ploy/
to keep those close/
while i simultaneously push away/
i don't always want to be that old girl/
the decision has been made today/
to always be FashionablyReal/
. . . because i'm really built that way.

Last Wednesday was my first official Photoshop lesson with the wickedly creative Victoria Lewis (see some of her unique textile prints on FB) and I must say I AM EXCITED!!!!!! It took so long to lock someone in for real lessons and boy was Vikki locked, loaded and ready . . . complete with homework, boo . . but needed. But what is learning without a little relaxing afterward, enter sleekly dressed other Buffalo buddie Alex, Jay's Favorite Sushi Bar, Center City Sips Happy Hour and you have yourself the best adult recess around.

P.S if you didn't already know Marathon Grill has great deals Wed 5-7, cheap drinks, discount appetizers and 15% off your actual meal . . .and all you have to do is sit at the bar, easy enough!!
